Team Falcons and Team Yandex emerged victorious in the fourth set of matches on the second day of the BLAST Slam VII group stage.
In the mid-game, the Middle Eastern club held a slight advantage, but they weren’t able to pull significantly ahead until the 28th minute. Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorac finished the map against Aurora Gaming with a KDA of 24.
The match between XG and Yandex was dominated by the latter. The Eastern European team proved to be stronger, despite their opponent’s partially successful attempts to strip Yandex of the lead.
Thus, Yandex maintained its winning streak and is in contention for first place in the group, while Falcons are vying for second; Aurora and Xtreme currently remain in the bottom half of the standings.
BLAST Slam VII runs from May 26 to June 7; the tournament is divided into a remote group stage and playoffs—the final stage will be played at the organizers’ studio in Copenhagen. The event’s prize pool is $1 million.
