IEM Beijing 2026 tournament announced

Tournament operator ESL has announced IEM Beijing 2026. The announcement was made on the organizers’ official website.
The championship will take place from November 2 to 8 in a LAN format in China. A total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament—13 of them will receive direct invites based on the VRS world ranking, while the remaining spots will be filled by teams that advance through closed qualifiers. The prize pool for the upcoming event will be $1,250,000. The organizers have planned two stages: the group stage and the playoffs. The top six teams will compete in the final stage, with all matches played in a best-of-3 format, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-5 series.
Earlier, tournament operator ESL also officially launched the ESL Grand Slam Season 7 series, which began with IEM Atlanta 2026, and published an update to its annual bonus ranking for clubs following the recently concluded IEM Rio 2026.
