In an interview at the CS Asia Championships 2026, Legacy players commented on the recent grand final against Team Falcons and their victory at the tournament.
Eduardo “dumau” Volkmer spoke about his team’s mindset heading into the grand final:
We were really looking forward to this final. Nothing could shake our confidence in each other and in our game. So we hoped everything would work out, and success came.
In turn, Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira emphasized that Legacy had a tough time on the first map:
The first map was a bit difficult, but then we regained control of the situation, and everything went well with the map bans.
Bruno “latto” Rebellatto stated that he considers Team Falcons a strong opponent:
I don’t even know what to say, because we played against a great team—Team Falcons. We always tell each other, “Guys, come on, we can do this.” That’s it—we won and defended our title.
Andrey “arT” Piovese noted that the Brazilian squad had previously faced difficulties but managed to overcome them:
This means a lot to me. We had some problems in the past, but we managed to overcome them, come back, and show some great CS. I’m speechless; I’m so happy.
Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco called Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov the best sniper in the world:
I was up against m0NESY—the best sniper in the world, in my opinion. But this is a game where five people compete, so the point is which team is better, not the sniper. We lost the first map, but we talked during the break and said to each other: “Guys, pull yourselves together, let’s defend the title in China.” I’m happy; all my teammates played an excellent game.
Legacy took first place at the CS Asia Championships 2026, defeating Team Falcons 3-1 in the grand final. The Brazilians lost 11-13 on Nuke, but then won three maps in a row—13-9 on Ancient, 13-6 on Mirage, and 13-6 on Dust2. The team’s sniper and rifler, Bruno “latto” Rebellatto, was named the tournament’s MVP.
